Help: Installing disparate versions of Office Apps

modesto

For some reason we have to install Outlook 2003 and Office 2000 on new
computers we are deploying. Is there a supported configuration for
Office where you run the full Office 2000 suite minus Outlook 2000 and
also run Outlook 2003?

Thanks.

Hi, modesto,

No, there's no officially supported configuration of multiple versions of
Office apps.

However, if you must, it's recommended that you install Office 2000 first,
then Outlook 2003. The problems I've heard reported are that you will have
trouble using Word as your e-mail editor, and that the "Send To" menus may
not work from within Office applications.
