Help please on toolbars

I have a template and trying to run a macro where it will
update fields, arrange tables, update TOC,save dialog box
appears etc. Out of all this one thing I want to do is I
want to deactivate one menu(which I created) before it
saves it as a document. What will be the coding.
Any help....
