Help regarding page set up for fold over tent cards

Gail

I am currently in publisher 2003 using Folded Card/Tent Card/Landscape
with a 3.25 x 2 front and back, which prints six per page. My vertical gaps
are fine
but horizontally the cards are touching and I need to insert a gap, for
cutting purposes. My old version of publisher let me change my layout,
choosing the folded
card does not allow me to do this. I really don't want to have to resize 12
pages,
just need to find a way to get a horizontal gap in there. Any suggestions
would
be appreciated. I have exhausted all attempts from the help file.

When I do business cards I want them to touch...
that way one cut serves two cards. Anyway...
when you go to your print screen...there's
a button that says: "Change Copies Per Sheet".
You can adjust your gaps on this page.

If you are using the gaps to define the
edges of the cards...my steps for adding
a cutting line may be useful:

With your card on screen, make a text box that exactly
frames the outer edge of the card. Go to..Line/Border
Style and choose 1/4 pt. This will place a fine line around
the edge of the card.

On your print screen, at the "Change Copies Per Sheet"
button...set the Horizontal and Vertical gap to Zero.
Try .7 for the side margin.

The result should be a printed page with only a line
separating the cards. Cut the line...you're done.

Thank you for your help, it won't allow me to do any of those things.
Perhaps I can email you my copy and you can work magic? What do you think?

I'm not a Publisher expert, but you are welcome
to send the file if you wish. Maybe some of the
more experienced contributors will offer to have
a look also.

Use the custom setup, 3.5 x 4 landscape, you can change the gaps. Insert a page for
the back. If you have problems visualizing where to rotate your objects, create a
sample in another instance of Publisher using the standard tent card setup, print it
out and use it as a guide.
The grid guides will be helpful to define the fold lines.
