Help with product identification please!

Hi,
I posted this note earlier but it never showed up so I will try again. Does
anyone know how you can tell which copy of Office is installed on what
machine? Here is our problem. We have a small office that we are upgrading
our machines to XP pro. Given the gremlins in the present operating systems,
we are going to do a clean install but that means having to reinstall all the
office software. We have about 6 copies of office XP which are installed on
the machines but how do we tell which is installed on what? They were all
just stuck in a box and we don't know which is which. I looked at help on
the toolbar and about. It shows a product ID but where do I find that on the
disc? Can anyone help us?

I don't think it matters - just so the number is valid. But I could be
wrong.

You could run a keyfinder utility such as Belarc Advisor
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html or Magical Jellybean
http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml to retrieve the
Office XP 25-digit product key from each machine, and then match
the product keys to your CDs.
