I'm trying to help a customer who is running a mail merge and keeps getting
the security message pop-up. Is there a way to turn this message off? Here's
the problem in his words below:
I'm trying to do a mail merge from Microsoft Word to Outlook (the same sort
of thing I've done a half-dozen times before), but now I'm getting an error
message that says, "A program is trying to access email addresses you have
stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?" (see attached prompt1). When I say Yes, it then
responds, with prompt2. In order to send 700+ messages, I'd need to click
"Yes" each time in response to that prompt.
I tested this on Monday and it worked fine. I'm not using any foreign
software--just Word and Outlook. Can you ask your Office folks if they have
any idea why that's happening and what I can do to deal with it?
Thanks for your help.
