Hi there,
Is there any way to lovate where a font is being used in
a powerpoint file. Using ppt XP.

I keep getting a msg. saying "monotype sorts not
installed" - I cannot , for the life of me, find where it
is being used.

thanks in advance

It's a problem, I know, and you could have a single character that doesn't even
show up. Monotype Sorts is similar to Wingdings, so PowerPoint may have
substituted for you. If you go to Format > Replace Fonts, in the top list box
you'll see the fonts used in the presentation. You should see Monotype Sorts
with ?? to the left. You can select it and then pick a font from the lower list
box and replace it and save the presentation. That should get rid of the
message the next time you open the file.
