hide a row dynamicly

Does anyone know how to hide a row based on its content?

I.E. in a sheet with several different clients
information, how can I set the sheet so I can specify a
client in one cell and then have it hide all other
client's information. I have a list of clients cell, and
a client field in each row.

Hi,
Conditional formatting can be applied to the cells you
want to "hide" to change the font color to match the cell
background based on the conditional formatting expression
(test the client name against a reference cell where you
enter the name you want to work with). The data will
still be visible in the formula window if you scroll into
the affected cells, but it will make the data in the sheet
area "disappear" on screen and in printouts.

Hi again,
I think I may have misinterpreted your question. I
thought you were trying to suppress information for the
selected client, but perhaps you were trying to hide
information for clients OTHER than the selected one. If
that is the case, then perhaps you should try
Autofiltering.
