Hide summary tasks for printing

I am looking for a way to when I print a "sub-project" to avoid printing all
the summay tasks above it. For example, I have a master project for
construction in a fiscal year with several smaller projects making up the
master project. I would like to print a Gantt chart without the first line
showing the master project timeframe. So, is there a way to hide task ID 1
from printing?

Peter,
One obvious approach, just print the individual subproject file (i.e.
not from the master).

A master project with inserted subprojects has several types of summary
lines, however based on your reference to task ID 1, I will assume you
want to suppress the subproject insertion point summary line. Probably
the best way to do that is to set up a simple filter and look for "c:\"
in the Subproject File field. If you want to suppress selected summary
lines you could also use a spare flag field coupled with a filter.

If you want to suppress all summary lines you can go to
Tools/Options/view tab and un-check the option to show summary lines.

Hope this helps.
