hide text

i want to hide the text from printing but want to see it and use it at a
later date on the screen. how do i do this and can it be done.

format - font - hidden text does not work for what i want

i am using word

Check out Tools | Options. Go to the Print tab. Is the Hidden Text
box checked?

i figured it out last night. it was working but somewhat of what was replied
is that the file - print - options - hidden text was still checked and with
that, it would still print. thank you for your response.
