Depending on what you mean by "highlight" there are a few different ways
to go. Some are automated, some are manual.
One manual approach is to use the drawing feature to create a
highlighted color background spanning the current week. This method is a
little inefficient but otherwise straightforward.
A more automated approach is to actually create custom bar formats in
the desired highlight color. Although it may be possible to use formulas
in custom start and finish fields, I personally think a simple VBA macro
would be easier. The first thing to define is the criteria. Do you only
want tasks that are completely bounded by the week (i.e. Sunday through
Saturday) or do you want every task that has some planned activity
during the week's span to be shown? Should Summary Lines and Milestones
be treated differently? Etc.
