hijacked email address/Outlook Express

I have recently discovered that my email address is being
used by someone sending porn. I only found out when
emails I never sent were returned to my mailbox by
Symantec or by Systems Administrator. What can I do?

Are you sure that it not one of the many viruses that spoof the From
address, what this means is that someone else has the virus and it has
trawled this infected machine for email addresses to "spoof" the from
address with.

Nothing - get used to it. Someone who has your mail address is infected and
sending mails using your address. The best you can do is to use rules,
SpamBayes, or another solution to abate the problem.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
