Hitcounter won't advance past pne

Ok I am new to FrontPage 2003 why can't I get my hit
counter to advance past one with my old FP 2000 I would
log onto the server through FP and Recalulate the
hyperlinks. I can't seem to do that with FP 2003 so I
could use some help.

Contact your host to make sure proper permissions are set on the _private
folder and hit counter page therein.
