Home page doesn't come up

I uploaded my website and all pages are there except the home page. All other
pages work fine, just can't go to home page.
I even created a one page website and uploaded it with the same problem- no
home page.
I built website in Publisher 2007 using Vista and FireFox. I uploaded the
index.htm and index_files.
When I open the home.htm file, there is nothing there. All other files are
fine. I have updated some of the other pages and uploaded them and they are
fine, just not the home page.
What am I doing wrong? I use Filezilla to upload. My url is
www.goldenwingsexoticbirds.com
If you go to www.goldenwingsexoticbirds.com/Page328.htm you can see the site
- lacking the home page.
Thanks for your help.

it is there but it's badly mangled, it will never display as it is.

You should stick to one thread for one problem or you will get further lost
in the details.

You should save your website both index.htm and index-files to some place on
your hard drive and see if you can open it with a browser (In fact with all
the likely browsers) then you can solve your problems without worrying about
uploading to the ISP where you have a little less control.

If you look at the DATE Modified on the index.htm file you may well find you
have never replaced it since it was first bad.

The contents of your index.htm file is nothing like it should be, so the
question remains ...How did you construct it or where did you get it from.
It is not what PUB would have built for you.

John G. and Rob Giordano:
I finally got the website working. I not only uploaded index.htm and
index_files which I had been doing all along, but I had to also upload Golden
Wings Website.pub
I didn't do this before because it was included in the index_files.
I have only used Publisher 2007 for the website construction. I still
don't know why the index.htm wasn't working right. Would it be correct to
upload all three items when updating the website? Or am I still not doing
something correctly?

I do not believe you had to upload Golden Wings Website.pub, nobody else
does.
I think you finally succeeded in uploading the correct copy of index.htm.

Just a little observation:- Some of your pages have boxes around the Nav Bar
Items and there seems to be some differences in the spacing and some a clear
boxes and some run together.

a .pub file never needs to be uploaded...server wouldn't know what to do
with it anyway.
you "could" keep a copy of the original pub file up there as a backup...but
the server has no use for it.
