How can I allow shared edit access to a Project file?

Is there a way to allow shared edit access to a Microsoft Project file?
Something similar to the Excel "shared workbook" capability? Thanks!

Sorry, no can do. Only one user may have write access to a Project file
at at time. All others can only get read-only access until the first
user closes the file.

Thanks Sarah. One follow up, does Project Server allow this capablity?

Nope, and I doubt that Microsoft will ever allow it in any future
versions. There is just too much information contained in a project
plan to allow multiple users to access it at the same time.
