How can I bring back a font?

Last week I created a poster using the Olympus font that came with this new
Dell computer (XP home, Office 2000). When I re-opened the .doc, the font was
"gone," replaced by a default font. And Olympus does not show up as a font in
Word any more. I found the Olympus truetype font in the Font folder in the
Control Panel. But when I type Olympus in the font box of Word, it is a
mixture of bold and normal, and not Olympus. Perhaps the font became
corrupted?

How can I fix this? Thank you!

Olympus may have come with your computer however it is not a font that is
supplied by any Microsoft product (including Windows).

I'd suggest you look at the other software that came pre-installed or that
you've installed.
