How can I create a shortcut for "paste special" + transpose?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Intel I need to do a lot of copying from one data orientation to another and use a lot of repetitive copy, paste special, transpose. It's a pain in the neck to use the mouse for this. Can I create a keyboard function or a single click button? I recently discovered how to record a macro in my previous version of office, which, although I couldn't work out how to apply it to all new workbooks, it was quick to set up in a new workbook. Now that I have upgraded to 2008 I cant even do that anymore. There seems to be a lot of people who would like this shortcut, going by the number of hits on google. Can it be included in future Mac Excel releases??? Please??????? Is there a short term solution I haven't found yet?

Unfortunately that improvement still hasn't come down the chute. Without
macros the only way to automate is possibly with Apple Script. VBA will
return in Office 2011 but in the mean time...

The fastest way I know of to do the Paste Special> Transpose is to assign a
keystroke to Paste Special. When the dialog opens key Shift+Tab (which
selects Transpose), press Spacebar to check it, then press return.

I'm using Microsoft Excel 2008 for Mac (12.2.3) and the tab key does nothing
in the Paste Special dialog box. Interestingly, Cmd-A selects All, Cmd-F
selects Formula, Cmd-V selects Values, Cmt-T selects Formats, Cmd-C selects
Comments, Cmd-N select Validation, Cmd-X selects All except borders, Cmd-E
selects Transpose.

For the Operation section:
Cmd-A does Add, Cmd-S does Subtract

Cmd-B does Skip blanks.

If the missing ones have keys I haven't been able to find them.

Yeah, tabbing does do something -- it shifts the focus from one option to
the next in the Paste Special dialog. Watch the 'glow' move from one to the
next starting in the Operation section. However, you still have to press the
spacebar to select the option once it receives focus.

However, it is dependent on a System Keyboard & Mouse Preference for
Keyboard Shortcuts... If it's set for 'Text boxes & lists only' the tab key
does nothing. The option needs to be selected for 'All controls'.
