How can I create my own calendar in Publisher?

I once had a print out on how to create your own calendar in Publisher. I
need to create a calendar that is two rows of six months each. It is to go
on my keyboard hand rest so it must be narrow. I am using Microsoft XP.
Thanks.

Dear Mary,

I was wondering if you could advise how to shrink your annual calendar to
fit on a business card?

Your consideration will be greatly appreciated.

That is just on the money. Thank you. I suppose it is asking too much to
get the specifics on how the calendar was created so that I can edit it for
the 2006 year.

I simply did a bit of math and adjustment. Highlight one of the months, look at
the tab settings in the format menu. It is a 2006 calendar unless I erred when I
typed the numbers. Right-click a month, format text box, size tab. All the
information is in the file.

You could create a Master Page and use WordArt for the 2006, setting the
transparency to low.

Thanks again. Perhaps you could recommend the reference material you used to
become proficeint at Publisher.

No reference manual will make you proficient at Publisher (or pretty much
any other software package, for that matter). Just like a reference manual
can't teach you to drive or fly, or make you good at fighting. Practise,
practise, practise!
