how can I delete locked office files following a server crash?

Has anyone tried to edit/delete locked files following network problems? If
so can someone please advise how I can remove the lock or remove the locked
files please.

Hi Robin,

Depends on the OS - nothing to do with Word, really. If you post your query
in a newsgroup supporting your OS you might get the answer you need.
