How can I delete Office Professinal XP from my computer?

After installing Office 2003 Professional, my old version of Office XP
professional still remains and nags me to insert the Office XP Professional
CD every time I open Outlook 2003. I tried to remove it using the Windows
Control Panel, but it tells me that the "patch" doews not work.
