I am attempting to scan a lease into Microsoft Word. The first page went
fine. I was able to change the dates, beginning and ending. However, wwhen
I scanned the signature page in, I was unable to erase the existing dates and
signature. Can anyone help?

Not sure how you ended up in the PowerPoint newsgroup, Kathryn, but you'll
probably have better luck getting a good answer if you repost in one of the
Word newsgroups.

Since you haven't received any responses yet....

This doesn't sound as if you're scanning OCR. So if you're scanning as an
image, Word isn't the best tool for image editing. You'll want to open the
image in an image editor (PaintShop Pro, PhotoShop, Acrylic, etc.) and erase
or paint over the signature and dates there, then save and reimport the
image into Word.

How did you change the dates on the first page?
