How can I fax using Office XP?

DRC

Every time I try to add Fax Services, I'm asked for the Home version CD.
However, I have never had the Home version, only Small Business. I can't
find anything anywhere on how to get around this. Any suggestions?

You don't have a clue what you're on about, do you? May I suggest that, next
time you receive an error, you actually *read* it instead of guessing what
it says? Faxing, in this instance has nothing whatsoever to do with Office,
it is part of *WINDOWS*. Now you tell me which disc it was asking for...

Actually, I think I'll find someone a little less self-important and
obnoxious. Thanks for nothing.

Also, just so you know, I DID read, and the message DID say, "insert Office
Home CD now."

DRC - There is no such thing as Office Home. I would suggest going thru the
steps again and read the error message a bit more closely.

Fax is a function within Windows XP.. setting up Fax is not reliant on any
file or function within MS Office..

To set Fax up, you will be asked for the Windows XP Home CD.. for more
information, take a look at this website..

The Fax service is turned on like this:
Control panel, Add or Remove Programs, on the left pane, click "Add/Remove Windows
Components", check Fax Services.

Did it? Did it*really*?! You sure? OK then, prove it. Next time you see it,
take a screenshot and upload it somewhere. If it really did say that, then
your computer is unique.
