how can I find microsoft word on my pc

I am looking for a spellcheck and word count but cannot find it I have been
told that I should have an icon showing W on my computer but don't. I
installed works suite 2002 but still cannot find it please help.

Suzanne S. Barnhill

Use Windows Search to look for winword.exe. When you find it, create a
shortcut and drag it to your desktop.

Does Works Suite 2002 actually come with Word? (Check on the box.....)

All versions of Works Suite come with Word. Works (single application) does
not. Word may not be installed by default with Works Suite, however.

This is a Newsgroup for MS Office, not Works.

just asking, as I didn't know the differences between various versions og
Works as I don't have Works..... :)

You can download the latest version of Office for free from
http://www.openoffice.org.
