How can i link a text to a picture in powerpoint

I want to link a text to a picture and have that picture come up next to it
on power point instead of it being redirected to another page

Which version of PPT are you using? If you are using PPT 2002 or later, you
can set up a triggered animation for the appearance of the picture. If you
are using an older version, you will need to do it on a separate page.

If you are using PowerPoint 2000 and below, there is an alternate method you
