How can I mail merge to an outlook category or distribution list?

When I mail merge from Word I can choose outlook contacts, but it doesn't
give me an option to choose a specific distribution list or category. Is it
even possible to do this? If so, how?

Never mind - I figured it out. It is a convoluted process, but seems to work
none the less.
