How can I open all jpg files with Picture Manager?

I have Windows XP with Microsoft Office 2003 that has Picture Manager.
However, I'm unable to open some jpg images that I had no trouble opening
with my last computer which had Windows 98. My Picture Manager has been
activated; however, when I try to open a jpg image, I get that little white
box with a red x in it which can't be opened. What can I do?

Do you have many images in the Manager?
Slide the acceleration down on your adapter
Control panel, display, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
If this works update your video driver from the manufacturer's web site.
