How can I print Visio floorplan dimensions in a drawing?

I am working with Visio 2003 Professional. I have a floorplan drawing and I
can see the wall dimensions change when I resize a wall. However, once
resizing is complete, the dimension disappears. I would like to continue to
view the wall dimensions and I would like to print the dimensions along with
my floorplan drawing. I can't figure out how to get those dimensions in the
drawing.

Thank you Mr. Herber. This will work and the dimension field will work too. I
was hoping to find a siimple "switch" on wall properties or the drawing as a
whole that might add the dimensions to the drawing. It is interesting that I
can view the dimensions as I am lengthening or shortening a wall but then it
all disappears. It would be a helpful attribute for a floorplan don't you
think?

I think that with the dimensions that only appear when the shape is
selected, the problem is that the chances are they will be in the
wrong place and may not all be needed.

I have the opposite problem. All may walls are showing their lengths on the
plan, even when i print. I cant remenber how i did this, and now i cant
remove them when i print

Check whether there is a layer for the dimension lines. If there is you can
turn the dimension lines off while printing, but still visible while working
on the drawing.

The problem i have is i drag a wall off the side to my plan. it shows the
lenth of the wall. As it should, but when i release the wall the lenth
stays. Normally the lehgth stay while you are moving resizing, but one
released it dissapears. When i print the plan all the lengths are printed,
making the plan look a mess.
