How can I restore default settings for my e-mail messages?

I don't know what I did but everytime I begin a new message, there is text
already there. I have cancelled all of my automatic signatures, and still
the text remains. What else could it be???

Are you using Word as your editor? If so, the text is probably in the
document template. Delete the file %AppData%\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot
and try again.
