How can I see the formatting of notes in PPT 2007 presentation mod

I can format (e.g., underline) notes text in the edit view of PowerPoint
2007, but when I switch to presentation mode, I see the note without the
formatting. Is there a way to preserve the formatting of text notes in
presentation mode? Thanks.
