How can I tell when Caps Lock is on?

How can I tell when the Caps Lock button is on? I don't see any indicator
light or text for this either on my keyboard or computer screen. I have
Windows XP.

1. All letters you type are capital letters.

2. My keyboard has a CAPs Lock light at the top.

3. Control Panel, Accessibility Options, Keyboard tab. Select option for
sound when CAPs Lock occurs.

Hmmm... the most obvious indication that CapsLock is on would be
that what you type appears in all capital letters on the screen.

You can make Windows generate an audible beep when you turn
on/off CapsLock, NumLock, and ScrollLock by clicking on Start |
Control Panel | Accessibility Options | Keyboard | check the "Use
ToggleKeys" box | OK.
