How can I trace a line on Gantt to show the actual date?

I want to do a report showing the progress of the project. I want to use the
tracking Gantt chart. I need to put a vertical line to highlight the report
date, how do I do that?

Hi Niccolo,

You can have Project draw a vertical line representing the status date
or the current date. The current date is computer generated. The Status
Date is entered in Project > Project Information.

From the Tracking Gantt view, Format > Gridlines. Select either Status
Date or Current date in the Lines to change list. Select a line type
and color of your liking.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Niccolo,

You can also type in the Current Date in Project/Project Information if you
wish to set up a different situation from the default. This can be shown as
well as the Status Date. By default, the line for the Current Date is at
0800hrs and the Status Date at 1700hrs. These times can also be changed by
typing them in.
