How Do I Add A Column with Material $'s Only

O

Old Style

I want to Show a column that has the material $'s assigned to an Activity. I
do not want the work $'s included.

Hi,

As such that is not possible.
You can code a VBA procedure doing it or probably achive to get the figure
by grouping but isolating those costs in a column: only through VBA.

A point of clarification. Costs entered into the Fixed Cost column are added
together as well. You may have Fred, Barney, and Wilma as "Costs" which are
human resource labor costs.

Additionally, you may also have other material costs such as Automobiles,
Steam Shovels, Sledge Hammers. These may be material costs and added to the
Fixed Cost column.

Either way, the are all resources and contribute to "Total Cost"

When you view a task, you will see the sum of all the fixed costs in the
fixed cost column. To see additional detail, you will need the Resource
views.

Hi,

This is a matter of vocabulary.
Project does not interpret Sledge Hammers as Material resources hence
Material Cost but as work resources
Material Cost is for consumables such as Cement, Bricks or Wrought Iron.
I thought the poster meant material cost whan he asked for material cost :)
