How do I add a plugin to PowerPoint viewer?

I have installed a small plugin to display the current time to my slides. If
I view this presentation with the viewer it doesn't show up. How do I get
the viewer to use a plugin and display the current time correctly?

The PPT Viewer does not support macros. That means no add-ins. Sorry.
