how do I add an equation in powerpoint?

Stam

Hello. Actually, I am trying to add an equation in powerpoint. The problem
is that when I add it, it appears as a pic, not like how it appears in word,
and I have to move it and adjust it to the size of fonts i am using etc....

Any ideas how to make it usable just like in word?

Thanks

Unfortunately, it is the same program regardless of where you use it. That
being, the font sizes are default set and if you leave them as is, they will
normally be 12 pt Times New Roman (which is perfect for Word, but too small
for PowerPoint). If you create a new equation in PowerPoint, click the
"Size" menu and choose "Define", set the font sizes you want to use to
something larger like 36 pt, when you go back to use Equation Editor in
Word, these settings will remain. Since most word-processors are using 12
pt fonts, these are what the default settings of Equation Editor are set to.
If you never use it in Word, you can adjust these settings in PowerPoint and
it will remember those the next time you create an equation.

Best I can do for you. Sorry!
