How do I allow Publisher 2002 pub to be opened by Publisher 2000?

I have a MS Publisher 2002 publication that I want others to be able to open
who have different versions of Publisher. How do I change the publication to
allow others to open it and to even make changes if they want?

File > Save as > Save as type: Publisher 2000.

Formatting will be lost during conversion in each direction.

Thanks Ed for your reply. The Publication in question is a training
publication that I wrote and over 60 pages long, with formatting being very
important. Is there a way to save the formatting?

Not all formatting will be lost, just some minor issues that will require
re-straightening every time the version is switched.

To maintain formatting, stay with one Publisher file version. Publisher
2002 and 2003 files are the same format and can be passed between the two
versions with no loss of formatting. As soon as you drop to Publisher 2000,
you lose formatting.
