"How do I change background color in Pub 2000?"

I'm just starting to use the Publisher 2000 and have all kinds of questions.
I'll just start with the one I'm having problems with now. I would like a
colored background and have not figured out how to get it done. Any help
appreciated.

That's another area I'm having problems with, when I try the help section, it
just blank. I used fill to color the page but when I do a design check, I
get an error that says the frame is empty. I'm been learning this by trail
and error. This forum is helping alot.
