How do I change the footer gallery

i am using Word 2007, and somehow I added a green line to all of the footer
choices in the footer gallery and I can't get rid of it. I just want the
default choices in the footer gallery back.

Did you by any chance apply border formatting to the footer paragraph? If
so, it could be reflected in the footer galleries. Clear the formatting. If
it has been added to normal.dotm, you can rename that file (with Word
closed) and then restart Word; a fresh copy with factory default settings
will be recreated.

If you suspect that there is something wrong with the galleries themselves,
try deleting the Building Blocks.dotx template (with Word closed).

Note that in order to find files to rename (or delete), you can use Windows
search utility. Be sure to search hidden files and folders.
