How do I change the way my name appears on a sent email?

Currently, when I send an email to someone, they view the
email as being from "lastname, firstname (student). I
want it to go first last, and to eliminate the student
part. How do i do that?

If you're account is an Exchange account, I don't think you can. It's
defined by your Exchange admin. Otherwise, just open your account
properties and change it to whatever you want.
