How do I connect to external databases using Word's Mail Merge?

I am using Word 2002. I need to setup mail merge documents connecting to an
external database, ODBC drivers. How do I connect to the external database
with Word 2002?

Hi,
You should have the ODBC driver installed for this to work.

If you already have these installed , you can access these sources or start
the Data Connection Wizard by clicking New Source in the Select Data Source
dialog box.
