How do I continue using Windows Mail?

I bought a new computer right before Christmas & set up my email under
Windows Mail. Works perfectly. I recently purchased MS Office 2007 & loaded
it today. When I attempt to go to my email it takes me to the setup for
Outlook. I don't WANT to change to Outlook. Can someone tell me how to do
this please?

remove Outlook from Office2007

in Mails tools, options you can set it to be the default. If you aren't
going to use outlook you can uninstall it.
