How do I convert a calendar made in Publisher into a Word document

I just recently finished a 6 month calendar in Publisher, only to be told by
my MIS guy at work that it will need to be in Word due to the space on our
server. I spent alot of time making sure all of the events were on the right
days, but I dont want to have to redo all my work in a Word document. Can I
convert my Publisher calendar into Word?

I just created a one page calendar with Publisher 2003 and another with Word
2003.
Publisher = 76 KB
Word = 144 KB

The MIS guy missed.

Select the calendar, copy/"paste special" into Word as a HTML file. Be certain to
copy only the calendar table. Your events will be okay.

Convert to a PDF file. These are more universal than Word files and are
normally smaller in size.

PrimoPDF from www.primopdf.com is a free PDF converter.

you can try and copy and paste into word, but Pub. will not convert to
word. Is there graphics on the calendar?

There are about 5 miniature clip art pieces on the calendar, but no graphics.
They told me not to do any graphics :( until they figure out the whole space
on the server thing.

I can try to copy and paste the calendar into Word and the other
suggestions. I will see what works.

The whole "space on the server thing" sounds like a load of bull to me.

If the ClupArt objects are line art (i.e. not photographs - filled areas are
OK, just not photos), then it will take up a negligible amount of space in
the .pub file, and even less in the .PDF file.

(Note that in Publisher 2000 and below, photographic objects took up large
amounts of space, far larger than the JPEG file from whence they came.
Converting to PDF also solves this problem)
