There is a menu command File | Send To | Mail Recipient (as Attachment). If
Outlook is your default mail client, this will create an Outlook message and
attach the file. Are you wanting to do something different? If this is what
you want, you can open Tools | Customize, find the "Mail Recipient (as
Attachment)" button, and drag it to a toolbar.

Depending on how your system is configured and which version of Office you
have, this may already be set up. While in Word, click on file---> send to.
In there look for "mail recipient as attachment". If Outlook is your default
mail program, it should send through there. Hope this helps
