How do I create a formula which displays past project dates based.

I require assistance with setting up a formula that is based off a project
end date, but will calculate the previous project goals leading up too the
end date.

you may provide some more details about your data. But from your
question I would guess you should use a project management software and
not Excel

are you linking / pasting from MS Project - or is this a "project" set up in
Excel. How is your data structured - where are all the "previous project
goals" - please explain the layout of your workbook / worksheet(s) - (don't
attach it, just explain how it is laid out and what you're like to see &
where) - then someone might be able to assist
