How do I create a recovery file for Office; none seems to exist?

C

Connie Baze

Using Office 2003. All apps set to save autorecover files to same file
(Autorecover deep within documents & settings). But file does not exist.
Nor do the ones named in the help menus. Is it really as simple as me
creating a blank file in location/name it thinks, or do I need to
format/program it somehow?

Thank you for your help!

The AutoRecover folder doesn't need to be named "AutoRecover". You can
easily the folder used for AutoRecover files in under
Tools/Options/File Locations.

Are you encountering difficulty with AutoRecover? Note the
applications will create the files when necessary - it's not something
you must do.
