I use Office 2003 and i am not always hooked up to the internet and if i
click on a word to define research tells me I need to be online. Iknow there
is a dictionary in there but i can not figure out how to get it to work. I
used office 97 and you just clicked and there it was.

Office 2003 makes use of online features that are constantly updated..
connect to the internet if you want to make best use of its features..

You need to install a dictionary on your computer. Office 97 came with a
dictionary {Quick Books, I think}. Office 2003 does not have a offline
dictionary.

There are a number available that you can buy including Microsoft Encarta
which integrates with Office 2003.
