How do I disconnect mouse & keyboard progression in PowerPoint

Ian

I want a PowerPoint slide show to be completely interactive by the use of
action buttons, hyperlinks and command buttons. I would like to be able to
disconnect the automatic keyboard and mouse progression that PowerPoint uses
to progress to the next slide.

Go to Slide Show > Set Up Show and set your show to "Kiosk". Only the Escape
key will be usable if the user is running the presentation from PowerPoint.

Sonia,

I'm trying to do this, but in HTML mode. Even in kiosk mode, when you enter
a slide with custom animation, you will be able to proceed only using mouse
or keyboard to show animation steps, There is a way to do this with buttons?
(Just in case, I tryed to use PPT buttons, but they are only able to change
slides, not animations)
