How do I download Excel program file?

My hard drive was replaced and Excel 97 was not installed. The orginal was
installed on my IBM when purchased, not CD was given.
How do I find Excel program files, not the viewer, and download for Free?

and install it.
As an alternative, Open Office is a free Office-type suite that can handle
Excel and Word files. http://www.openoffice.org/
