How do I duplicate or copy a distribution list?

I have several names in a Outlook distribution list that I have not added to
my Contacts. Is there a way to add these names to the contacts without
retyping each one.
I would like to duplicate my distribution list as well.

You don't say which version of Outlook you're using. However, in Outlook
2003, the following works. Add the distribution list to the To:, Cc: or Bcc:
field. Click the + sign next to the distribution list name to expand it, say
Yes if prompted. Now, right-click an address you want to add to Contacts,
and choose Add to Outlook Contacts.

Not sure what you mean about wanting to duplicate/copy your distribution
list. In the list of contacts, hold down the Ctrl key and drag a copy of the
distribution list and drop it in the list of contacts. It will create a
duplicate item. You can now rename it, if desired. Not clear why you'd want
to do this.
