how do I expand the allowable # of fonts on my laptop? Ihave 500+

I sometimes get warning statements that I have exceeded 500 fonts... How do I
allow a greater number of fonts, with out getting the message?

Use a font manager.

(I have almost 800 fonts and to be honest, I could lose a lot of them and
never miss them. I've never received this message but if/when I do, there
are several that are gone. And I know my system will run faster when that
day comes.)

If you are using Windows XP, just ignore the warning. The number of fonts
is not a problem. The warning message is generated by applications designed
for Windows 9.x/ME which can have problem is you have too many fonts.
