how do i export a publication to adobe photoshop?

Why would you want to? (I'm not asking that to be a smart ... but if we know
what your purpose is, we may be able to help you.) Also, which version of
Publisher are you using?

That would rasterize the file, which may or may not be good. Like JoAnn,
I'm curious why the OP would want to do this.

I've found that sometimes there are ways to achieve the purpose that are
better than others. Easiest is not always the best.

i'm using publisher 2003. i found that it is easier to create e.g. a business
card in publisher; some print shops can print from that but most prefer
photoshop/illustrator

Any print shop that asks for a Photoshop file is a little odd, IMO.

Ask if they will accept a PDF file.

Most "new" or "newer" as well a "customer friendly" printshops accept
Publisher files. Ask your printer if they will accept PDF.

That's exactly what I was going to say. .pdf files are the simplest way to
share files and any print shop worth your business can accept them.
