how do I fix font sizes in powerpoint

I have set up a template (pot) in powerpoint where the size of the title is
24 and the text is 18. But when I insert slides from my files - which have
the same title and text sizes set - it changes the title size from 24 to 20.
How can I stop this!!

When your inserting your slides form file is your Keep source formatting
checked? This could be the reason why your slides are changing. Also. when
you changed the sizes in the master slides, did you resave it as a.pot file?

Try reapplying the slide layout to the slides after you insert them.
Sometimes you have to do that twice for the new layout to "take."

Make sure you've set up both a slide master and a title master in your
template also. Oh, and when you created the template, you did make the font
size changes on the slide master, right?

If that doesn't fix it, post back. Also mention which version of PPT you're
using.
